Community Resources
One of our goals is to serve as a centralized resource for the community, provide public education, and deepen partnerships with community members.
Annual Symposium
We host an annual symposium that features talks by aging research at UCR and provides informal opportunities for attendees to interact with and ask questions from the research teams. Topics include the effects of aging on our brain, how cognitive processes such as memory change as we age, and the similarities and differences between normal aging and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. The event is open to the public. Additional information can be found on the Events page.
Participate in Research
We have developed a database to centralize aging research at UCR. The database, also known as a Participant Pool, makes it easier for older adults who are interested in participating in research with us to find those opportunities, and for us researchers to find those individuals.
You can learn more about the database here or sign up to participate here.
